Fashion was in full bloom at studio 703 with our fall preview trunk show. Local clothing designer Steve Guthrie presented a collection of contemporary women’s wear with a hint of nostalgia for the 1960’s. His designs feature lightweight, wearable fabrics, perfect for the professional Houston woman on the go. Turning the studio into his runway, Guthrie showcased a variety of looks accented by Rebecca Lankford’s latest modern jewelry designs.
Also on show was an assortment of luxury leather purses from The Elizabeth Purpich Collection. Styles ranged from oversized statement pieces to classic envelope clutches. The beauty of this collection is the option to customize the purse however one chooses. All the leathers and hides are available for any style of bag making the opportunities endless.
In the end, the force that brought the entire event together was Brandie, the owner and founder of Hollywood Hippie Cosmetics. With her attention to detail and focus on each individual client, Brandy transformed every face she touched. Her all natural makeup brought the models to life, bringing the looks to a whole new level. Not only is Brandie a magician with a makeup brush, she has a passion for helping others. 100% of the proceeds from her #cosmocause line is donated to CASA to help end the cycle of child abuse in America.
To wrap it all up we would like to thank our wonderful models from BEAZ Talent for enabling our local designers to showcase their product to its full potential. All of us at studio 703 appreciate the support the support of our clients and look forward to seeing you all at our next event.
